Nexwell Power energizes its 6,3MW Cantillana Power Plant

The electricity produced by this plant should be enough to serve the needs of more than 3,500 households

LONDON, U.K. February 2024. Nexwell Power announces the energization of its Cantillana 6,3MW solar power plant located in Seville, Spain.

Cantillana plant forms part of the Iberia Solar I portfolio which consists of seven projects with a total capacity of 51MW. The first electron was sent to the grid this month and the electricity produced by this plant should be enough to serve the needs of more than 3,500 households.

Accelerating innovative low-cost renewable solutions is central to Nexwell Power’s core strategy to displace and reduce CO2 levels while delivering clean, reliable long-term energy to its customers, while nurturing the environment and minimizing impact on or displacement of existing ecosystems. Avoided CO2 emissions from the Cantillana project are projected to exceed 5,000 metric tons in its first full year of operation.
