Nexwell Power completes construction of 19MW solar power PV plants in Andalusia, Spain
The three new plants are located in Carmona and Palma del Condado with more than 6,6MW each
LONDON, U.K. September 2024. Nexwell Power announced today that it has completed construction and commissioning of its Carmona and Palma del Condado projects, a 19 MW Solar Power PV cluster located in Seville and Huelva, Spain. Osmos Sistemas Eléctricos in a joint venture with Vázquez y Reino provided the procurement and construction works under an EPC agreement, with project financing provided by Rabobank.
The three plants are part of the Iberia Solar II Portfolio which consists of seven projects with a total installed capacity of 46 MWp located in Andalusia and Extremadura.
Accelerating innovative low-cost renewable solutions is central to Nexwell Power’s core strategy to displace and reduce 1 billion tons of CO2 over the next decade while delivering clean, reliable long-term energy to its customers.
Avoided CO2 emissions for the Carmona and Palma del Condado plants are projected to exceed 16,500 metric tons in the first full year of operation.
