Jorge Lara, new CEO at Nexwell Power
Lara has been Chief Operating Officer at Nexwell Power since its inception in mid-2020, a position that will be taken by Miguel Muñoz, until now Chief Commercial Officer.
LONDON, U.K. December 2024. Nexwell Power, the Nexwell Group's platform focused on the design and implementation of solutions for the supply of clean, stable and economically efficient energy, has announced the appointment of Jorge Lara Dominguez as its new CEO.
He succeeds Andreas Mustad, co-founder of Nexwell , who will remain as a senior advisor to the company, in addition to his current role as managing partner at Nexwell. Lara has been Chief Operating Officer at Nexwell Power since its inception in mid-2020, a position that will be taken by Miguel Muñoz, until now Chief Commercial Officer.
As CEO of Nexwell Power, he will be responsible for the growth and strategic vision of the company. With more than 23 years of experience, Jorge Lara has spent the last 20 years in the renewable energy sector.
After working for several years at Uría Menéndez Abogados in Madrid as part of the Energy and Project Finance team, he continued his career at SunEdison assuming senior management positions throughout the project cycle in different jurisdictions, leaving the firm as VP within the Global Operations division with approximately 8GWs of projects under management. Most recently, he held senior management and advisory positions at Enfinity Global, for its operations in Mexico, Italy and Portugal. Jorge Lara holds a degree in Law and Business Management and graduated first in his class in the Master in Corporate Legal Counseling from Instituto de Empresa.
